Description

I'm a big fan of Poe's "The Raven", hence the title. I put a lot of effort into this one and so I wanted it to be the first upload to Renderosity. I noticed you cannot really see the details in the background like the cage on my PC monitor, the laptop monitor image is much brighter but a little less spooky. So I guess both have their own advantages. Aside from Renderosity store items the image contains V4.2 male, the Chocolate Hair, Zenia for V4, the GW2 male texture, Cats and Swords for Zenia and a background from the "On a certain night" set. Enjoy :)

Your efforts really paid off. This is a very appealing image. The play of shadows across the floor do a lot for adding to the spookiness factor. The firelight is very well done, and you did a heck of a job on the V4 male - one of the best jobs I've seen!

Your effort paid off quite well in this one! A most beautiful and thrilling render! I can see the cage in the background, but had to look a little in full view. Still, a most superb composition! Excellent artistry!

yes, its fantastic... the interaction of the different light sources - torches, candeles, moonlight... The expression in the face... And nethertheless, the dark architecture.
