Nowhere In Mind
Growing up in turmoil
Out there in black light
Windows gave comfort
Nowhere in mind
Outward would gawk
Inward did howl
Distance stared back
So much would speak?
Swallowed tears cried
Chose might wrong
Choices tolerated gaze
Chooses a life how
Shifted through hands
Fixed eyes on essence
Boiling point cooled
Windows watch on
Nowhere in mind
On and on……...
