This spring wildflower comes in several shades. This the painted trillium is the most common with the burgundy color runner up common. Thanks for looking. -GB-

One of my favorite Spring flowers. I remember when we were all young and Mom and Dad would bundle us all into the truck -yep, we rode in the back without seatbelts!- and Dad would drive us out the old dirt road that would one day become the Kancamagus Highway, connecting Conway and Lincoln.. We would come to the end of the drivable road and Dad would stop and get out to look for Trilliums and Jack-in-a-Pulpits along the edge of the road. Thanks for the memories, George.
