Well, it's been a long few days for me. I was having very bad chest pain Wednesday night, but it was conditional (only when breathing, bending, etc). It started around six in the evening. Thinking it was heartburn perhaps, I took a Pepcid. After an hour or so, with the pain not letting up a slight bit, I took an Aspirin to not only act as a partial anticoagulant in case of a clot, but also to relieve any inflammation that might be going on and take away some of the pain. Around three in the morning, the pain was still persisting. Not knowing what else to do, I called a nurse hotline, described my symptoms and was told to go to the hospital immediately to get a proper diagnosis. So, I went to the hospital, petrified out of my mind because the symptoms I was having were identical to a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lung). Well, after an x-ray and an EKG, the doctor at the hospital told me I have Pleurisy (to learn more, go Here). So I'm now taking some antibiotics to hopefully clear up any bacteria that would cause this. It's still very painful to move, walk or breathe, but hopefully it'll get better over the next few days. *deep sigh* ...Ow >.o; In other words, this is me getting my frustrations out at this damn inflamed lung ;) Any prayers and good thoughts would be MUCH appreciated.
