Description

It's not spring where I live! Huddling up to my heater creating images of spring didn't feel quite right, but somehow I managed... Playing around with my new toy from C3D - Wabe's Bad Weather Expansion Pack 1, Rain. Vue 6.5 Pro Studio, signature and resizing in PSP. Thanks for visiting, and thanks for all the comments on my previous images, they are greatly appreciated. Craig UPDATE 05/23: This entry won first prize in the "Spring fling" contest in the "Vue 6 - A New Dawn" group on DAZ :o)) thumb_1670625.jpg

deserved to win, though I liked the 'alternate' as well. It's almost an underwater scene, but a heavy spring rain can feel underwater many times. You've captured the deep-marine patina of land under a rainfall, your dapples of light—almost pools of light—make it feel like an ocean floor, and your flowers—which add dabs of beautiful color into this largely green & yellow-green landscape—are beautifully conceived. A fav for this and "Spring," just to say that I think they're equally fine. I'll catch up with more of your latests, but I really wanted to walk into your earlier works too. I'll do more of that too, as I return...

Excellent job on the rain, that is very hard to do and make it look real and you've done it beautifully. Congrats on the win too, even if a bit late. My defense, I was not posting on RR in 2008. :) The lighting is superb!
