Description

Excerpt from Elvis' Jailhouse Rock (words & music by jerry leiber - mike stoller) The warden threw a party in the county jail. The prison band was there and they began to wail. The band was jumpin and the joint began to swing. You shouldve heard those knocked out jailbirds sing. Lets rock, everybody, lets rock. Everybody in the whole cell block Was dancin to the jailhouse rock Aw, sorry for my weird sense of humor...Poor guy in that position just reminded me of 'Put your hands up' and Jailhouse Rock :-) Yesterday I think he probably thought he was in jail but what a difference today! Today he eats out of my hand and allows me to pet him full body. When I leave the room and come back in, he runs for the cage door chittering at me and waiting to be petted. I can't believe how little time it took for him to trust me. I haven't held him yet but maybe tomorrow so I can put antibiodic cream on his wounds. His left paw is really badly wounded and he holds it against his chest, has trouble holding his food with it and the back leg when trying to hold food in his front paws, causes him to fall but I have high hopes that he will be okay. He is so funny, I tried to wake him with gentle nudges to give him a treat and pet him before I went to sleep...wouldn't budge but scolded me:-) so I just petted his fluffy little tail and went to bed. Now I am up to post this and he still won't budge. Thanks for liking him:-) oh and I have temp named him Buddy! Thanks also for looking and previous comments!

Thanks for helping the little guy, I've made friend with a couple of the Squirels in the park they'll eat out of your hand, you can put food on the table and set down for lunch with them, if they are in the right mood. Good luck with him and pet him once for me, thanks for sharing!!

He is just sooooo adorable - still looks a little scared. I so hope that you are able to help him heal and he hangs around for awhile.
