Description

We've seen these ships before. The planet is fully 3d and rendered with the ships - three spheres, one for the land and land bump, one for the clouds and cloud bump, and one for the atmosphere glow. Planet textures are a pain...

Good stuff. Love the level of detailing on your ships. Yeah, doing planets that way can be a pain. Adding a speculation layer also helps I think. I often use NASA photos and stuff from Celestia for mine. Or, when in doubt, gas giants!
