might be the small size of the image making it poor quality .did you have the scan 300dpi ?..the artwork itself is excellent and i would love to see it better quailty :o) mick

My favorite Comic character. Lovely work. You would make Mr Tucci proud.

Aww it's still very nice though! Happy Mothers Day!!! :-)

Wonderful drawing what you have done. Did you have just had the idea to made you drawings direct on computer? So you didn´t need a scanner anymore. I wish you good Pentecost holidays!

Nice form and colours, Kathleen, even if the scanner did not bring out the original quality. I love those eyes ... 'o) They are like a green loch / lake, which one would want to dive into. As Sivana suggests, perhaps you would be better with a graphics tablet and stylus. On the other hand, I have noticed that a lot of your works are larger than A4 / Letter size, so maybe you would take a wee while to accustom yourself to the new media. You seem to have access to a scanner, whether at work, print shop, library, community house. Is it A4 or is it A3 in size. The dpi / dots per inch / resolution which you scan it increases the file size, but with hand drawn items, using the jpg format can easily cut this to below the file size maximum allowed by Renderosity. 35+ years ago I remember that the local Ordnance Survey office ( British official mapping agency established 1791 ) had scanners the size of two pool tables. The cost of such maps were astronomical too! Mind you the Glasgow Teacher's Resource Center, in the same era, had a colour photocopier, something that schools still don't have access to. Keep well, my friend. Warm regards for your North American Mothers' Day, too. One of my great aunts used to give my mum a wee gift or 'minding', on the occasion of the birthday of one of her children. She reckoned that mothers deserved recognition on their children's birthdays too, not just on Mothering Sunday. See you, John.

Looks like a really great drawing. In some way the scan gives it a character all of it's own. Nice work!
