Description

This little creek is fed from a spring coming out of the mountain at Morrison Campground. It may not be one of my more dramatic shots, but it's a special spot to me. Morrison Campground is where my family used to have it's annual family reunion. However, after my Grandmother got too sick to organize it (around 1988), we've not had one. One of my favorite memories is of blueberry cheesecake. I don't know who made it, but it was from scratch and (as we say down here in the South) would make you slap your Momma. Now, for anybody wondering about the origin of that little saying, it means the food is SO good, it's worth the beating you'd get if you HAD to slap your Momma to get some. And I do mean 'beating'. If you ever wonder why we Southern's are so polite, that's it. ;) Thanks for letting me ramble, and thanks for looking and taking the time to read. As always, comments and thoughts are welcome. Spike
