Just a new budding artist enjoying the awesome creative world known as 3D. I just started into doing this stuff with Daz Studio, and have added so many other programs to the list. It's insane. Ok, about me, I'm a pianist/keyboardist, and have been for the last 37 years of my 41 on this rock. I love paint ball, air soft, and anything PS3 First Person Shooter! Especially love Battlefield Bad Company 2! Anything else to do with the music or artwork posted elsewhere, go to : www.terice.weebly.com Thanks for stopping by! Thomas

excellent image, and I really like that texture, it has just what you were looking for...gritty and worn, great look!

I like what you have done so far. - The ship's far side gun barrell is lower then the other yet its further away - it should be higher - assuming the ship, guns and pilot are all on the same plane, fixing that will restore the depth perspective. Maybe look at before and after pictures of the Space Shuttle to see how leaving and the atmosphere changes the hull of a ship. The armor - if its resource poor time, then no matter how grimy they will have to try to maintain the armor, dont polished but some cleaner spots especialy to the hard plate portions of the armor. The softer parts of the armor I think look good. Patches - not sure how you would make patches on armor or welds from repairs but that might help achieve the look you want.
