Description

After getting less than 10 comments on my last piece...(wait I thought it wasn't about that!) I fired the guy in charge of thumbnails and hired a pimply-faced 12 year-old to be my marketing director. I think his theory is "sell it with sex". Hell, might as well join 'em. Lol! So this thumbnail is a test to see just how far I can go before the thumb gets whacked and "how much skin do I have to show in order for someone to pay attention"...sigh...sounds like strip club marketing to me. (Anyone got a 20 for that g-string? Here, let me hold it in my teeth so she can pick it up with her thighs.) Hee. Enjoy the look. rap... I do hope your experiment works, I got here through my email link so I didnt see your thumbnail in advance. I will say, 3 out of 4 of my most clicked on works had a view of a female tushi. Good luck.

You know, I think it's not important to have the most comments - it's much more important that the comments are honest and not just the lazy "nicely done"-thing.... which I don't like at all! So don't mind the thumbnail-problem, you're doing great art even without these sexy-thumbs :o) May I say that these blue flowers are a funny addition to your image regarding the whole situation that's happening between the lady and the trolls? Okay is it the volume or quality of comments you want. I think you should have shown her face and some expresssion with a flowing robe on full armor or something. I am getting bored of seeing those same trolls everywhere and why a fight scene - how about a person with no weapons exploring a dangerous or silly place, I liked the faeries you did a while ago. Or you could add more males to your images too. Actual men that is. I like the castle in the background and the closed in feeling - the color choices were good. The ground looks odd - not able to guess what the blue stuff is. On the other hand its nicely done and strong pro work, I would have given a 3 or 4 but again - a typical scene and no face.

Guess you gotta go with what works as far as thumbs go. Speaking of what works, nice choice of camera angle and a fantastic character. I don't fancy the trolls odds of coming through unscathed!

Seeing as I'm number 49 in the comments list, I think you can safely say that your experiment is a success. I think I'll be adding some gratituitous nudity to my thumbnails in the future (or at least as much as I can get away with. Darn SGT2004!). Great work! An instant fave!
