Description

"...even during the hostilities, the tourist trade was booming. There was this unwritten code of ethics from the two sides, they would not touch the other's bread and butter.... tourists. Business was thriving, people from all over the Galaxy came to see the shows, spend some time, relax, shop... maybe do a little gambling.... all in good fun. I worked for the largest tourist hauler in the business... Starhound... our motto was, "Leave the flying to us". We used to do the Kessel run in 2 Parsecs, but that record was broken a long time ago. Now, we carry passengers to either of the two destinations, either Reen-Oh or Vay-Gas, stopping at ports of call along the way.... we call it the Milk Run. We're not as fancy as some of those Star Cruisers out there, we carry people, fast efficient, safe, and comfortable. Each Bus has special Enviro Domes for those that may need a water based arrangement, or methane breathers.... we can add Domes whenever we need to, before a run. But most people just take a seat, and enjoy the ride. I'm the only crew, not counting the workbots, but who does.... they tried to call me Captain at one time... but me, I prefer to be called Driver... nothing fancy, nothing shiny. So, if you got to get to your destination, and want to get there fast and inexpensively, "Travel Starhound, and leave the flying to us!" The Lounge Wars, Chapter 9 Getting there is half the fun! Aaahhh... the Lounge Life, nothing like it in the world, you can dress up, or dress casual... maybe even get to see a celebrity or two.... like my friends here in the Lounge... all celebrities... our own little Rat Pack comments welcome, please enjoy!

I have to get a ticket for that Starhound, sounds like my type of vessel to travel in... I hear the 'Driver' is bar-none. I feel safe with that type taking the controls. Then off to catch up with celeb's in the "Lounge". My treat on this round! +5 from doarte

Mmm...those extra domes sounds like a good idea, I wonder if you have the "Mother-in-law" one or the "Grey-nomads" one, Driver ? Spiffy design and concept my man ! ~Cheerio~

As I walked through the Starhound baggage claim I was accosted by a unkempt local hanging around the depot. He asked me for a $100.00 so he could take his ailing mother to the emergency ward. I said, "How do I know you won't just go into that casino over there and just gamble it away?" And he said, "Gambling money? Oh, I got gambling money..."
