I lived my life Looking through the rain Every drop pierced my soul Cut me deep In places I can’t describe I lived in the rain so long I didn’t know there was sunshine Until I met you You blew into my life And the clouds parted The rain slowly stopped pouring Your warmth touched my face And worked its way into my heart Your kindness has started Healing the cuts in my soul Everyday is the new Best day of my life Because you love me
