Description
This is one from my own collection of bonsai. It is a variety of Japanese Maple called "Sen Kaki".
It has stunning new spring foliage, and quite small leaves so an ideal bonsai subject.
The picture was taken outside in full sun, hence strong shadow, and placed on a roll of black paper nothing too cotrolled or elabarate. Just a shot for my records. It is a way of seeing them grow up, when you have been looking after them for 30 years!
