Description

A long, west facing sandy beach with pebble bank. The sand is dark in colour but clean and not muddy. The beach is quite secluded, with steep cliffs, and completely unspoilt, with excellent water quality. It is good for bathing but care should be taken of currents. Sea angling is popular from this beach. At low tide there are wonderful rock pools and caves for the adventurous explorer here. There is a great variety of sea birds and clifftop flowers. Druidston derives its name from a Norman knight, Drue. Thank you for all your comments on my previous posts.. Take care and have a nice day.. Aled..

Superb land/seascape Aled, as David says the views you have on your doorstep are just stunning, and it doesn't matter what the weather is like apart from thick fog maybe, even fog can hold its charms in the right place. Excellent work mate. Bravo!!!!!
