Unlike Rusty the red silver kitten, Anna his sister was trying so hard to look cute and interesting for the camera, she completely did not see the bird up in the tree. In turn the blackbird was so busy singing to his lady, with his wonderful bird song, he completly did not see Rusty watching him! ...
Inspiration came from it simply being spring, my favourite season, and that I wanted to share some of my flower images with you, one of my other passions. Because the blossoms look so good right now, I am working on another composition of a 'Japanese Chin' puppy, featuring the blossoms for my next upload.
I thank you all for taking the time to view, for those who gave me kind and inspiring comments, and a million thanks to those of you who generously favourited my work.

truly has the feel of a Japanese print...the cats are sensitively captured, and nice that you have them facing opposite directions (a bit of musical counterpoint). But you've surrounded them with a composition of Oriental grace, eloquent lines against stark empty spaces and very fine hues. Stark & yet delicate. You've used your whole space so nicely, and given us lots of empty space too which works so well. A very fine work, very sensitive and also very spring-like.

Excellent! Wonderful composition, and light, and adorable kittens. I like your placement of elements of the picture against a black background. Great attention to details that tie the image together, like the petals in the tufts of grass. I love the way the branches and blossoms come through the frame, the light on Rusty's fur, and the questioning and anxious to please, look on Anna's face. Beautiful work!
