Description

If the Land of Oz had caves, this is what you would find. Or maybe it's a room somewhere in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Okay, I took the rose that I had previously posted on May 8, 08, and this time just for the fun of it applied the Polar Coordinates filter, with these amazing and unexpected results. You even have the tips of some stalagmites sticking up at the bottom of the picture. So we have the postworked version in the top photo, and the original on the bottom. Thanks for the visit, and have a worthwhile work week.

It reminds me of when I learned the difference between stalactites (hang from the roof) and stalactmites (rise from the floor) and that they can form a column if they meet. Classification leads to taxonomy.
