Very nice tone mapping, this is a wonderful inage, I have just purchased Photomatix Pro, and am really enjoying the various effects one can achieve, you had fine results here, I hope I can get these kind of results, I'll be a happy man :))

PD154 - thanks for the comments. It took four attempts with different tone mapping settings before I got a result that I was really pleased with - even then I had to resort to Photoshop to bring out the detail in the wooden rafters!!

You have provided another excellent example of why I need to learn about HDR, tone mapping. It really brings across the feeling of being actually stood in that church.
