Hello and good evening/good morning/ good.....everything!
Today a street scene from Berlin, that I did last sunday.
What is happening here? So many people, no cars, and the police-cars in the background.....
A demonstration? The pope in town? The Rolling Stones give a free concert in the park? Or an UFO is seen here one hour ago? Or only a mother`s day Berlin style?
No, all that is false: Berlin is preparing for one of its famous fiestas and the people of Berlin is preparing itself to give an example of its legendary creativity and its joy of live.... What it means? Oh, wait a moment.....(to be continued)

@mickuk50: Yeah, when I wrote these story here yesterday, I had a little recherche work before: The idea to this carnival here came from the Notting Hill carnival in London. In Rotterdam/ Netherlands they should have one, too. Both of them are older than the Berlinian.

Nice shot, most people don't notice you taking the photo, yet one guy with sunglasses centre thinks you are just taking a shot of him! looks a great atmosphere.

Have to agree with Alan(artadict2) on this one, that guy seems to be looking right into the lens, saying, 'Yeah way to go man, I am the only one worth your attention'. Excellent street scene, I have had a quick look at some of the carnival photo's, I will be back for more indepth perusal later. Excellent candid capture(apart from the sunglassed youth). Bravo!!!!!
