Description
I probably would switch texture and lighting and render this again. I was going for a more photo-realistic look, while I quite like this result, but it isn't exactly photo-realistic. (The character is a guy btw...)
The lighting is still from Sadot's HDRI scenes. I haven't done playing with the different HDR images yet. Great stuff.
No postwork done, except playing around with different blending modes.

This is amazing work. I love this character...he reminds me of someone from one of those snazzy movies like The Hunger with David Bowie and Susan Sarandon and Catherine Deneuve. The lighting in this is superb and I'm particularly taken by the reflections in his eyes...it looks as if you can almost make out what he's looking at, but all of it remains tantalizingly vague. Great work, and the expression on his face is deliciously compelling in the implications of drama.

Nicely done. You know, everything doesn't have to be photorealistic. This works quite well on its own terms.
