Description

Once stood the "Hakalau Sugar Mill" here but all that remains now are bits and pieces. In the old days, the ocean was just trashed with sugarcane waste products but environmental laws had changed that making it a cleaner place. It is nice to see the shore line clean from trash. Glad to see a normal beach, your description evokes a sad past/present. It is sad what we do to our world in the name of commerce and progress. Some is necessary to live as we do but most is not and could be done much better.

It's so nice to see this shoreline looking clean and natural. Given enough time with no new pollution, the ocean will heal itself.

Not the most inviting shoreline for a swim, but it sure has a nice texture and rocky appearance. Wonderful place to be it seems.

most of the streams here and rivers are strewn with thrash unfortunately. too many people and too much plastic bags a beautiful coast line Errol and capture
