Description
" And the general fell as quickly as she had risen. Her horse, frightened by distant thunder, reared and threw her. The road dust was worn away by the trodding of the army, to reveal a single jagged stone. A finger from the earth laid her low where no other enemy could.
And Azriel mused, " What a fantastic series of events. The thunder, the horse, even the stone, touching for one momnet in time. What now of the war?"
"We never question." the hooded man replied. " Yet, if you must know, the war was changed by this single moment. Her army shall lose and many in the village beyond the hill will fall beneath the invaders wrath. Come, there is work, and our toil will not end here."
