Description

Losing a friend and you don't know why Is like the sun never shines in the sky After almost 5 years of friendship, it looks like it's done and over with. I get no responses anywhere I know of that she frequents. I offered to try and talk it out and maybe eventually become friends again.....

Sometimes all you can do is make an effort and hope for the best.

Hi Brian, my opinion, life is easy, she is a friend, and you've not lost her unless she has lost you, yet, that is for you to decide. She is just like you, human, and because of, her perception of everything is different. We each see everything from a different angle. We can agree when viewing the exact same thing, situation whatever and our individual views are always different, in some degree. (Easy to realize when you view your comments after you have written something and showed it for view/comments from others.) As well as we all have moments when our views are from extreme different angles of perception, during moments as, a disagreement occurs. My point is, there is confusion possibly on both sides, (happens to all of us) her behavior in a situation as such is normal from this perception, I only see one side, and from that one side. I see two humans being human. I see a person that needs time to sort through her own thoughts. (Could it be true, you need some time to sort though your thoughts too, find out, which of your thoughts you might believe in that are bringing about so much stress and sadness, discovering like her they are not true.) Because what I see, from this angle of perception, I see confusion, I see a man proclaiming his love to his friend, while beating the crap out of himself. Those thoughts are conflicting, think about it. Is it true, are they conflicting? When you figure it out, you could if you want, show her, how much you love her, by loving yourself just as much, see her as she is, not better, not worse, human, complex, give her space, know your friends and she'll be back when she has figured it out for herself. From me to you, know, life is easy, love is unconditional as it is real, and patience is a virtue. Chin up Brian! All of me, Wolfspirit

I understand how you must be feeling. I too have lost a friend, she was my best friend until circumstances(beyond my control)changed the way she viewed our friendship...and she was gone from my life. I still miss her sometimes, but the fact that she chose to remove herself from my life proves I suppose that our friendship was only meant to be for a limited time. If she ever wanted to return into my life I would greet her with open arms, but that is how I am I guess...always willing to forgive and forget. I hope you and your friend can be reconciled if fate decrees it should be so. Good luck hugs

Losing a friend is never easy....sad but true, they come and go and sometimes we never know why they seem to leave as suddenly as they appeared....that is when losing them is the hardest....I like to think that each friend we make through life comes into our lives for a reason...we may never know what that reason is....but if we remember the laughter, the times shared and even the hard times, that friend will live within us for as long as we ourselves live....for whatever reason your friend has chosen to make herself obsolete....try to remember the good times if you wish to keep her within your thoughts and heart....as long as you do that she'll always be with you in spirit.
