In memory of Hobbes, the best cat a guy could have. I'll miss you, big guy. EDIT: I just wanted to thank everyone who took the time for a sympathetic comment. I really appreciate it. Hobbes first showed up on my doorstep 11 years ago, after someone dumped him off. He was really tiny, his eyes were still blue! I still miss him terribly...once again, thanks everyone Gary

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have to FLV + buddies that I don't know what life will be like without them. Again, I'm am terribly sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your sad loss, you have created a wonderful tribute to your dear friend. I am also an animal lover and having lost pets in the past I do know what you are going through. As time passes, I hope the pain will become less, and you will find that your cat is still with you. You will carry him always in a special place in your heart and your thoughts. The loss of a beloved companion, no matter what kind, is a blow to the soul that no salve can ease. And nothing is so hard as having a loved animal in your life as having to bid them farewell. But they never really leave us, so long as we remember them and hold the love they showed to us close in our hearts. Across the Rainbow Bridge and at the end of Summer, they all wait for us, and we will be reunited. My deepest sympathies for your loss. I feel with you. Once you're together with one of those funny, clever, pointy-eared fluffball it's hard to see them go. Reminds me of Lily, the best furry roommate I ever had.
