Description

Sooner or later there comes a time in our lives when we stop fighting against who and what we are, and start making choices for our own happiness, rather than what others expect of us. This picture and poem (if you can call it that) are a simple allegory for such a time in my life. Let's go for a walk he said I'll slip something on I said We went out and strolled down the lane. We'll go through the woods he said It's hot in the sun I said We turned aside into the shade. The ground is quite soft he said It rained yesterday I said My narrow heels sank and then stuck. You're in the wrong shoes he said I'm in the wrong place I said He looked at me wide eyed and still. You mean something more he said I cannot deny I said He nodded and walked on alone. I'm in the wrong life I said I kicked off my heels and ran home. -------------------- Thank you my friends for your visits and comments. A big thank you to Forevernyt, for prodding me to go back and try again to tuck her foot behind some of that grass instead of just plonking it on top. ("Plonking" is a special Photoshop layering technique favoured by lazy people). The result is crude (as are my PS skills) but believe me it looks 10 times better than before.

It is rather well done... nothing to find fault with.. except trying that sharp to blur thingy in photoshop again... I use to know how to do it... but buggered if I can remember now. EXCELLENT up-skirt shot!
