Description
Moonlight caresses the ancient ruins of the once proud temple complex, long bereft of it former glory and honour. Where once wise and powerful men came to seek the consul of the oracle, where now only breezes brush and palm fronds skitter.
But once in a while, the magic of ages returns to touch the stones where it was once held so dear and honoured. Seeking one whose mind was open and spirit was willing to heed the wisdom of the Gods of old again.
Such a night as this one.
An ancient stone brazier gutters to life and casts a pale glow on the crumbling and ancient stones.
Soft footfalls of a curious soul are brought to wonder before it.
A gust of wind. A night bird's cry. Then all the world falls silent. Mist creeps back over crumbling stones and a song of ancient times softly falls on the air around.
Raising her head and open palms to the skies she is enveloped in that ancient power. Her eyes seal in that rush of sensation, memory, and insight of old.
Behold!
