I like the symbolism of the turtle and the shell and the shell of energy surrounding the deceased, the sun's rays coming down. Love the shadows, too.

I don't like the big shadow on the sky. It makes the scene look like it is taking place on a television soundstage. I feel this distracts from the potential impact of the painting. My score is '3'.

Very cool, quite an interpretation of the big D, the tortoises are very suprising I wasn't expecting them but somehow they add to the whole life/death experience, nicely done.
