Description

This is my first image with catalytic converters. While they feature chemistry and precious metals combined in a technological tour-de-force, and even have Swedish oxygen sonde probes to protect them, I can burrow through the exclusion and dig them. The exhibit of the history of their development at Henry Ford Museum I saw about 10 years ago was the highlight of my visit there. The agony and the ecstasy, the light that seemed never to appear at the end of the tunnel, the thrill of victory dashed by the agony of defeat. Fuel Cell technology, now, or batteries, wishes they could have such an outcome. This is an image of a driveline that gets 25 mpg highway in government mandated testing.

Super nice chrome! I wish I was 'more' mechanically inclined like you, I am lost at times with all these internal devices ughh! That leather fits her very well I noticed also :-)

I shall resist the temptation to make a rude comment based on the title, and take time out to admire your supreme artistry.... time out taken, that was fun! Mike

Houston, we have a problem. Another super POV of the cleaner than clean work area, this time of Sydney balancing herself on a wheel, amidst various and sundry automobile parts.
