Description
Please be kind.I based this character on myself.I am a BodyBuilder/PowerLifter,and YES I DO look this freaky.I know the backround is kinda blah, but I have only had Poser4 for about a month, and just started using it.Thanks.

OK, this is not perfect, it needs some post render work, a better background integration, etc... BUT I just love your image!!!

Well...The character is better. the texture a bit more detailed. the pouch is a plus, not I'm saying nude is bad ( if you looked at my stuff you'll understand) as you have found in using poser some poses and limb placements cause "Problems" and the hip area is one of them. The biggest thing I got is the image is way too big for what you are showing and the lighting isn't there. I know you are trying and that is good but i woudl suggest not useing a background image, use primitives other props Cyphers "star field" anyhting. I really don't mean to be hard on ya but if you want to get good start with the prime feature of poser, The character. and work your way out. that way your work will quickly improve and broaden your range. You have some seriou potential here it shows in the modeling of the face and the textures ya just need to follow the same method to bring up the rest. Keep going you are on to something.

Well of COURSE I give myself a 10!LOL.The face I was told in other postings is Very Original(I based it on my face and it took a long time)I painted the beard/stache,and chest hair, bathing suit on by hand,I still have to work on applying textures.I know the backround is pixel city,so I am working on it,and the lighting too.Hopefully this is actually worth an 8,for a newbie I mean.Thanks.

Okay, I'm glad you aimed me here... great character! 8 overall: background which you already mentioned. 10 for the character alone: very good morhp & muscle work... hair hand applied in photoshop? Very nice. Crop narrower & have mercy on those of us w/small monitors, please...

Like you said, the background looks pixelated. But I'll give you a 10 on the character you did an excellent job on him! Especially for a newbie. I am a newbie also (5 months);~)

The character is really good.. and like you said the background isn't.. Try rendering your model on white or plain black if you want to show him off. Try other poses as well to show off his physique :) Try even adding props (like chairs and other things) this kind of looks half finished to me but I would love to see it completely finished. You are on the right track though keep working at it and SAVE the character :) he is great

I used to be a bodybuilder, competitive, and I've never known one yet that didn't shave all that body hair off. You might want to try to make him a bit more tan. I don't know any way in poser to get cuts, but that would make him better as well

Wow!.MUCH better!I can't believe you actually DREW all that hair on!The beard and suit look pretty good too! When you learn to appy a texture it will be SO much easier. You must have spent alot of time drawing it on.For that and your really original face I give you a 9(for a new guy).I know you are aware of making the backround resolution better,so I won't bug you about that.Lighting too,but all in all very good,Artist.Keep it up.
