Hello All!!
Took my Mom to the dentist and found myself waiting alone for her to finish her appointment. . I had already read the readers digest that was sitting there... so there was this big fish tank and it had this wonderful adorable white spotted puffer fish (and a few other smaller fish. I noticed that the puffer- he had these teeth or cartilage well, it actually looked like BIG teeth in his mouth. I thought it was funny that a dentist had a fish with HUGE teeth!!! SO dug my old pocket Nikon 7900 out of my purse thought it would be fun to take a macro of that puffer fish and later put some braces on it (LOL) in paint shop then print it out for the dentist ( as the receptionist told me he really loved his fish !)...hehe that puffer sure had a lot of personality he kept following me and didn't seem to mind the flash of the camera.
A few days later we printed a 5 by 7 of this and its now in the Dentists office ...was told they loved it ) .
LOL Guess I just have the whole braces thing on my mind today just took Janel to the Orthodontists and made her appointment to get her braces a few hours ago, lol she is nervous about getting them - he told her she'll have to lay off the sticky sweets...
( hmmm maybe I'll give a copy of this to her Orthodontist too hehe)...
Anyways, hope you like my funny fish with braces!
IT was a little tricky to capture as the glass WAS very thick from the big tank and bright lights reflected on the glass ( postworked out some of the reflecting lights here) ...so I thought I would share it with you all today as it was swimming around in my files.!! I know,... I can have a strange sence of humor at times...why not ? life is short !!!

Great shot of Puffy and trust me, those teeth are very real and not cartelidge. That whole family has teeth like bolt cutters and I know at least one person who had his big toe snipped off by a large "toady" in Shute Harbour near where I once lived. It harrassed people for 3 years before someone finally put an end to its reign of terror.

As long as she's careful with the sweets and gum, she should be okay. Braces arent all that bad! The puffer looks good. Ive never really been able to capture fish well :S
