Description

Another doodle in the napkin came into actual modeling and scene construction. Standard modeling and modified Jessie fig. Any comment or suggestion is most welcomed. Hope you guys have a nice weekend to come...:)

So you made the entire image from scratch? (the modelling i mean) Cos thats really cool man! It would be nice to see this pic incorporated into a scene (something star wars like).. Good job!

Superb modelling and such an inventive idea, quite surreal in it's own way, with the separation of the spaceship and the ivy, I think a blue sky/BG would look good here IMHO. Wonderful scene. Hope learning another program hasn't put you off Vue. You only have to ask.

Love your modelling as always, and the shrubbery is a nice touch . But how is it a meditation pad, she doesn’t look much like she’s in meditation, that the jess model isn’t it, I always thing she looks hard in a fierce way. I don’t mean any of this in a rude way I wish I could model like you do, my only feeling is from a pictorial kinda way I don’t get meditation , could be the angel or pose, I thought Jess was driving the pad at first, but see now she’s in a sort of zen pose. I mean all of the above only in a helpful, if butting in kind of way, I love your stuff.

Thanks guys for the positive and constructive comments. I agree with Rorsdors, the figure is not in a traditional meditation pose and can be improved, I guess she is more in a prayer mode, thanks for the observation!

Actually, I don't agree with Rorsdors. I take it to be a futuristic meditative style. Who knows what that would look like? Green sky/background is excellent and gives it a otherworld/time feel. When zoomed, it's priceless!!!

My cable connection was running a lit bit slowly this evening. When I followed the link to this page, it took three or four seconds to download this picture. It swept into view like a black curtain being drawn down. And do you know, it was a pleasant way to view this interesting piece? As the picture appeared, line by line, I was able to pay closer attention to the details as they were 'opened up' to me, rather than comprehending the entire image within a single, all-encompassing glance. It made me reflect that I all too often take the images in this gallery for granted. Each image has been generated by a real person spending time and care. It may seem like an obvious statement - but your image combined with a chance occurrence of delayed technology has brought this home to me very strongly. Thank you for taking the time to create and share your creations. Huw Carr May 18th 2008.
