Jean-Georges Tartar(e), kind of crossbreeding between Darwin and Gandhi... picture taken during his "talk performance" at "Namur en Mai", the fairground art festival ! “Avec sa grande barbe blanche, ses longs cheveux et son corps longiligne, Jean-Georges Tartar(e) évoque une sortede croisement entre Darwin et Gandhi. Après avoir passé plus de la moitié de sa vie en Afrique et en Inde, ce conteur fabuleux nous livre peu à peu le contenu des centaines de cahiers qu’il noircit de son écriture secrète, comme, dit-il,écrivent dans leurs cahiers les petites filles. Tantôt rugissant, toujours corrosif, ce docteur “es palabre” parle, lit, s’émeut,tonitruante, et raconte sa vie vécue et son indignation face à l’inadmissible !” Orateur sans contrainte, il attaque la langue, s’en empare, la plie, la déforme, la triture, la sculpte, la fait sienne, réinvente son propre langage. Il est le vent qui porte les histoires et les tempêtes. Sa parole est libre, impertinente, ironique, coléreuse.
