To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

Ah, yes ... Jimi's final album (remember that term, kids?) with the Experience. I think he would have agreed with me that this is one fine image and worthy of inclusion on the cover. Especially in the U.S. where we weren't allowed to buy the copy with all the nekkid hippie girls. :-( Another Mina masterpiece!

Ahem, yes indeed, though I might point out that Hendrix is one of those amazing musicians to cross generations. My son worships him as much as he does Zakk Wylde, whom I must admit is also very gifted. And this image portrays the era of Hendrix so fantastically well!
