Description

This image was born in a strange way, while I was doing some experiments in Vue, and I wasn't going to post it. What triggered me to post it was that I saw the clouds embracing the sun. All of us already imagined images in the clouds in real life but this was the first time that I saw it in a render. So, I thought, why not post it? I know, that embrace is only in my head but hey, maybe some of you can see it too. :-) I see arms around the sun, I see a head gently leaning on the sun. NOTE: I just wanted to make clear that I was not at all aiming for realism on this one. I know the water is not realistic, as well as the lighting and colors (which are over saturated). I was aiming at mood and fantasy. Thanks for your comments and faves in my previous image! thumb_1676006.jpg Thanks for watching!

A big foamy minotaur using the sun like a pillow? Pretty wild looking clouds. @@ ^^ LOLOLOLOLOLOL The water looks fine for a tidal pool or small scale scene. My mind tells me that the width between those walls is about a meter or just less, IMO. The viscosity of water is a bane of Hollywood model set builders. So it is with CGI. LOL

Reminds of the clashing rocks from Jason and the Argonauts, beautifully rendered, the colours are wonderful and the mats are first class.

I agree about the head and arms, but I like the different colors that make up this image, too. This is beautiful!

I see what you mean! Sometimes also when watching a real cloudy sky you can see all kind of animals, signs, monsters, etc. Excellent capture!

I see it as well. Perfect title for this beautiful render. The rocks also appear to be embracing the water. Excellent work.

actually, i like the unrealistic, saturated colors. i think i see the face you're talking about! i had to look at it full size, but the effect is really cool. my first thought was that the rocks were embracing the sun. i think you could have even more fun with this palette and style in the future.
