Description

This is what happens to a Brocken Spectre when you hold the camera up at arms length (the left picture). The target of rainbows - called "the glory" is centred around the point of view. Each person that see's a glory, see's their own unique one, same as the camera does. The picture on the right is taken with the camera held at my stomach. All I seen in both these shots was the rainbows centred around the head of my shadow. What can't be shown in a photograph, is when you hold out your arms, the shadows cast by your arms disappears from your finger tips toward the centre of the target, and the shadow flickers and changes and swirls as the cloud passes below.
