After our cool, grey damp Spring, yesterday's scorching sunshine was a shock to both myself and to everything in my garden!
This morning's early and more tolerable sunshine
has brought me many delights like this.
This clematis is 'Pink Champagne'.

Fine clarity, lighting and composition depicted in this lovely myriad of floral stuff. Actually, I don't know if it's the lighting, or my monitor, but it looks more like Magenta Champagne than Pink.

I like! When I got home today I just fell in a twitching heap - I barely noticed that things had bloomed while I was gone, so I don't know if I got any clematis. This is beautiful! I'll enjoy yours until I'm awake enough to walk outside in the daylight!
