How could I resist him??? :d I love to capture Octave because not only is he a wonderful cat but he also has a VERY strong temper :)... He is very talkative , loves to rant and thinks I am his girlfriend This is how me and Octave met: a friend of mine told friends of his I wanted a black cat... His friends were raising both black abyssinian and angoras... When I went there I first noticed the cute wild mother hissing at me then hiding under the chair :D... then I tried to talk to the black kitten in front of me: he hissed and ran away, too lol... Then I decided to stroke the black kitten laying down on my left upper side, and called him Octave...He gently opened his eyes and moved his ears to say "ok...please do not talk to me that loud"... I kept... on whispering his name and stroking his head...:) Then mommy cat called all the kittens for dinner time and Octave went with one of his lovely arrogant vocal protestation meowing "no, later on, when I want to" LOL and jumped on the floor to examine the exit door and how he could open it... The owners got fed, caught him and put him in the bag to give it to me:) As the saying goes: "you don't educate your cats: your cats educate you":D I still hiss myself sometimes to make Octave understand I am not happy about something -like peeing on the walls and stuff like that :) Have you ever tried to hiss? Needs a lot of practice ! cheers Elisabeth

He is a very pretty boy. His eyes are close together, that give him a special look. Good shot. Understandable that you love him. And as i mentioned in earlier comments.. Octave is a great name. And i bet he can sound both harmonic and cacophonic :) Very cute animal and life companion. And no.. i can't HISS..heh. But i sometimes bark at my dog when she is naughty... :) Then she quietly stares at me.. as if she thinks... You really misunderstood something dude ;)
