Description

Going even further back today, this one's from the tail end of 2003 (more from my archive as requested Tunde ;) hehe) I love this place and will without doubt be paying it a visit after exams at some point. It's called Tentsmuir forest and is a few miles down the road/across the bay at low tide from St Andrews. I was taken there on a class trip for a module called 'Walking Art' (Richard Long, Hamish Fulton etc) as it was a place incorporating many different types of scenery in a relatively small geographical area. We went from these dense woods, onto some boggy plains, then down onto a massively long, open beach, before catching a break at a bothy owned by a friend of my tutor's. The forest usually does the trick if you feel a need to get out of an urban environment and back to nature once in a while. Looks like another sunny day with me stuck inside revising, hrmph! LOL...you a good diger, find aanother good one! Realy like a b&w tone almost like a silver forest. Good idea to visit back when you time will alow to wonder again and of corse share it with us your forest adventure.
