That moth is huge!!!!! I sure hope none fly around here in California....LOL....there would be one crazed red head running in the other direction for sure! Excellent capture!

I was able to see these in person once at a Butterfly Garden and I was so impressed. They are so large and so beautiful. Great picture.

What a spectacular creature! Is it active during the daytime? The green on its wing seems to be a good match for the tree and the brown is like autumn leaves. Isn't it amazing what nature turns out in time?

Geezuz he is big :) Great photo Jim. But he is extremely beautiful. Amazing work by mother nature. I had no idea the could get this big. Butterflies in Denmark where i am from, is about 1.5 inch at max ;) I think this big dude could even scare me.
