Description
The Interstate 5 Freeway, a major arterial link traversing the West Coast of the United States, beginning/ending at the Mexican border and ending/beginning at the Canadian border (British
Columbia).
Captured 3/6/08, looking southeast around the break of dawn, exactly .65 miles/1.046 kilometers from my drama-filled domicile.
In this particular instance, I shot a series of photos progressively lowering the shutter speed to emphasize movement. Hence, more to come in the future.
And have a nice day/night, wherever you are on this third planet from the sun.

An inverse of those dreary trips through industrial heartland at dusk that were spiced by the lights in the windows of the factories. They are just steel blind sheds now with truck docks so the eye turns to the great rivers of cement for Renaisance.

The bottom pic is superb, and made all the more so by the contrast with the top one!

The top one is good, but the bottom one has more energy. I like the sky in the top one better, and the taillights in the bottom shot. Things to admire about both! But if I had to pick ... I'd say the 2nd shot.
