Description

The news, as we all know, is colored. This is the entrance to Moscow's TASS, its Soviet-era information agency. Subsequently taken by me and Photoshopped to Hell. :) Mildly more diverting if viewed at full size.

very interesting. I find the art of the place and time fascinating itself, uncompromising - almost brutal but embellished with notions of the grandiose. I am a big fan of the communist propaganda posters, the way they use hero's and glorify the common man, the architecture on the other hand whilst being a valid and inspirational art form in itself is too hard and cold to be an asset to the urban environment. In your image you have removed it from everyday life allowing objective evaluation.

The style reminds of Andy Warhols! Che Guevara, which is very apt, and the building reminds me of a film, but I can't recall which one. nice manipulation.
