Description
First of all - the tails on the squirrels doesn't look like squirrel tails. I haven't got a clue why they turned out this way, but they look like they're carved in wood.
Anywhoo...
We have loads of these lil creatures around here and they must be the most stressed animal on the planet, except from ourselves. Man, what a speed :D
However, it does happens that they stick around a bit and take a closer look at you...even if it seems to be for a brief moment.
About 3 years ago we went up to Liverpool over the weekend. Along the coast up there, there's a piece of land where red squirrels are roaming around...and it has to be the cutest piece of land in England ;) There's bus loads of school kids arriving and since they are feeding them, those squirrels are pretty tame too. We had a very curious one following us as we walked towards the beach :)
Hm...I can't for the life of me remember the name of the place...but oh well. Wouldn't be the first time ;)
And thank you for your comments on my piggie render :)

Those trees are bad ass! And your lighting of course(;

Red squirrels are a rarity now aren't they? The grey ones have nearly knocked them off the island, and red ones, not only coz they're native English squirrels, just happen to be the cutest! Nice picture, the lighting is excellent

Jilly - yes...the red squirrels are instinct...not sure if they really belonged here from the start, but I don't think so. Robin probably told me at the time we went to see them. However, they are absolutely the cutest :D

Maybe those squirrels have developed big strong tails as a defense mechanism...? The trees and lighting are wonderful.

This is a lovely image Christa I like the POV too :) As for red squirrels they are still around although the grey ones have out-competed them in most areas, it seems we now have a black species which are becoming even more dominant !

LOL, about the Red Squirrels being Extince. They thrive here in large populations and seem to really prefer living in the Parks. These squirrels in your scene are very cute and that a nice touch to it. You must be animal lover like me!!!
