just wish to show I do take shots of bands that is on stage too. Wish I could get back stage and take some photos. This was at the internation of Louisiana here in lafayette, La. about a month ago.
I put these together; it the same band here. I got another band too the same night.
Talked to a artist here face to face for she saw two of mine cajun band stuff and she wish me to go to center here in town that have plays and classic music and opoly[lol mispelled] mean some one is singing in Itay songs. can not understant a word of it. I told her I like too but i do not think they let me up clost with a camera. I do not have a big telephoto lens just one that is 250mm and put on a 2x to make it 500mm. I most likely need a 500mm with a 2x on it to make it 1000mm
oh here I think I had the 250mm with the 2x to make 500mm and no tripod. going to get a one leg tripod hopefully this weekend
the band was good too. forgot where they from lol

had to walk thought a sea of people to be up front. top left is from a seven floor parking garage for cars of this building. I had a pass I used to park for free there

We have a Friday night free concert in the park series all summer here. Its across from my office building and starts an hour after I got off work. But it is usually over 100 degrees or near it at that time of evening and mostly the music is head-banger stuff or alternative-I-don't-know-what. I'd love to go if they ever get a good country band or cajun band or even a blues band. Love these shots. They really show the good times.

great fotos, your next cam should also record sound bites , i used a video that took fotos with 3 secs of sound that was realy cool and added alot to the pics , they should do that in cameras too at least optional.

Excellent collage of shots Jocko, these are great but should be even better when you get your mono-pod. I've just bought a new sturdy tripod and I wish I had invested in a mono instead, the new tripod weighs a ton. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
