Description

"The Art of Peace functions everywhere on earth, in realms ranging from the vastness of space down the the tiniest plants and animals. The life force is all pervasive and its strength is boundless. The Art of Peace allows us to perceive and tap into that tremendous reserve of universal energy." ~ Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido

The inner courtyard rock garden of the orginal Morikami Settlement Museum buidling. The structure was built in an authenitic pre-20th century Japanese manner. Shot in IR, I decided to do a bit more to it in the postwork. Inspired by Igorsv's latest work, I had some fun with the lense blur filter. The original is shown in the thumb. Best viewed at full size, thank you for looking. -----

Nice postwork utilized in this shot of the courtyard. I thought at first the rocks in the middle were actually big brown dogs lying down and resting their weary bones. I realized soon after that with no apparent paw prints on the ground that that was not the case.

With the blurred edges. it looks more like a scale model, than a real building and garden ! Neat IR capture and postwork. ~Cheers~

Greetings Kort, One of the things I like about this photograph is that it reminds me of some of the Eichler homes that were constructed back in the sixties and a few of them had an atrium in which one mind find such a treasure as seen here. Thank you for sharing and have a great week. egmont
