Description

This unusual set of linked cars are used to repair train tracks. This unit stopped in Middletown at one of the abandoned spurs. All trains have been routed around the city of Middletown. So, I guess this is as good a place as any in which to park this unit. Photo taken with a Casio Exilm EX-Z75 (7.2 Mega-pixel) digital camera. Enjoy!

We saw a UP work train in Glenwood Canyon last week. It was 20 cars. It looked like they'd shut down the main line for a while, and probably re-routed traffic a hundred miles to the North. Then we were really surprised to see an Amtrak. It must not take them long to move one of those, because we know they don't make the Amtrak wait. It's neat to see your capture. We don't see a lot of them, but maybe that's a good thing. Hehe.
