Description

Hi There This is my first Mojoworld post in 16 months, probably my longest ever abstinence from the software I think. Thought I would kick off with a render of one of my all-time favourites - Mei Omei Just got a new Dual Quad-core machine with 16 Gb RAM, it's a bit of a shame that Mojoworld cant take advantage of all eight cores. Thanks for reading and hopefully viewing Ang ***EDITED*** I have edited my post and taken out my diatribe on Pandromeda, not I might add because of any legal problem, but because I dont feel that this is the place to air my feelings about the issues I have. I just read 'Eargasms' comment and it mad me realise that perhaps Pandromeda are going through a really bad phase at the moment and that we all have problems to deal with, so I'm gonna try and be more patient. I also hope that they survive...

great picture, I think you should be glad it was developed at all, if it supports network rendering you might be able to use that by running it multiple times on multiple cores on the same machine.

"I love that dirty water..." Unfortunately, it's not just a question of continuing to develop the software - MojoWorld was built upon sand. It really needs to be re-written, from the ground, up. I think that the interesting fact is that, even after 5 or 6 years, nothing has really come along to replace Mojo. It just shows you how far ahead of its time it was...

Dramatic pov! 16 gb RAM...Wow! that's impressive, though presumably mjw can only use 4 of that due to the lack of 64 bit architecture, I agree it's a great shame that it does not seem as though it will be developed to make use of the extra proccessing power that is becoming availiable. to me that would be the single most important thing, as a great deal of what I would like to do now is pretty much impossible due to astronomical render times.

A beautiful render from one of the classic planets. Love the close-up of the texture. I would love to see an update of MW. It's been too long. Nice to see you back!

Wonderful detail in this view, well done! I hope Pandromeda will somehow survive, if that is pertinent to it's situation.
