Description

I always called these dogwood. However today I was told they were not. They are plentiful along the roadsides in the woods here in New Hampshire. A small waist high bush with flowers on every tip. Thanks for looking, -GB-

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornus_racemosa - take a look at this site and it's primary site, maybe you'll recognize the flowering shrub from it's description.

They look like a type of hydrangea, but I didn't know those grew wild... lovely, whatever it is!

What a pretty little flower, I haven't seen these before though I am familiar with other viburnums. Lovely captures.

Very beautiful capture and flower! I would have thought something from the dogwood family as well! Do they smell as pretty as they look?

They certainly look like they could be from the dogwood family, but I see you found out what they are. Beautiful capture, don't know that I have ever seen one growing anywhere. Very pretty flowers!
