Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Is this the late night voice of reason or the reason for the late night voice??? Nice Words with much feeling to them!!!

Fantastic, evocative words! Again, you capture a profound experience that all of us share, but too few of us actually pause to enjoy! Ah, late night voices! I love the sound of them, quiet and winding through various intimacies. The favorite of my late night once declared: "A bottle stands between us now, so we must be very, very honest." Your words brought that back, wonderfully!

Gives me a sense of the spiritual, when it is time for us to listen to what He has to say. Very thought-provoking words.

I loved working with you on this, and I love how it turned out! This is a gorgeous poem, straight from the heart. I agree with Michael ... the voice in your night is fortunate, indeed.

Very nice :-)

That's really nice, Marilyn, most eloquent and soothing. Down here we call late night voices "Talk Radio"...which is hardly sweet, velvet and sultry. In fact, it's often frightening.

Beautifully written poetry! : )
