Well... that's usually the time I wake up and have fractals on my mind... or a Julia in my eye... or something like that... ;)
Some Saturday Strangeness. Ultra Fractal with a slight boost in saturation for postwork.
I got playing around in the Kerry Mitchell folder (lkm.ucl) and had way too much fun, obviously. The hands are made using Bezier Curve and the frilly fan was created with Rose Range Lite.
Huge thanks for all your encouraging comments on my previous stuff... and I surely appreciate that you took the time to click through on this one. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend... :)
Hugs!
Helen :)

This is really unique and creative. This would make a wonderful poster for a high school prom that is having a Mardi Gras theme.

I think I will try getting up at this time to see if I can get such a great result. This looks wonderful with all the textures and patterns. Super work.

Don't poke yourself with the long fingernail! Highly imaginative and creative work; skill and vision, and a little craziness, all mixed together in the magical process that you master so well.

Oh my mercy, Helen! You did that fan with RRL?! WOW, woman! The whole thing is absolutely amazing, and even though I'm taking the masking class now, I still have only a very general idea of you doing it through lots of masking, clipping, transgrads....any and all of it, lol! Extremely impressive piece, to say the least! BRAVO!

Wow, amazing work as always!

Thanks for taking the time to make and post this highly imaginative image. I didn't know aliens could be foreign exchange students in Japan; amazing how they can absorb and interpret their culture.... :-)

Pretty whimsical and very detailed work for such an early hour. Think what you could do in primetime! Again, a great mixture of textures. This is one of those images that looks as interesting from across the room, as it does close-up. You never cease to amaze LM.

Now you only didn't tell how you made the little smileys in the background ^_^ What a gorgeous composition, Helen. What's so funny is that I know those formulas you use and still I wouldn't have come up with the way you use them. Thinking outside of the box, that's what I still have to learn.
