Description

These are the rhododendrons that grow right in front of my house, one on each corner. I didn't like any one of them enough to post, so just started playing around and stitched them all together.

Wow! You just keep pulling stuff out of your creative hat. This would be an excellent wallpaper! I love the sense of color and the whole composition...it kind of goes a bit beyond the whole "collage" thing in my opinion. Great work, I especially like the bits that are faded into translucence a bit. In short, this piece rocks; it's a bit like you're going off in yet another fun direction! It's better when you zoom in to full view. Oh, and one more thing, it looks a bit like something you'd find on a Japanese shoji screen...and well...THAT's always a good thing, especially since this whole image has that snazzy, updated 14th-Century-Japan feel to it. Great stuff!

Fine melange of rhododendrons in this crazy quilt arrangement, Marilyn. Reminds me of my wild daisy postwork concepts, which I should really get back to sometime.
